To complete your RYT 500 with Cloud Nine Yoga:

  • Graduate from a 200-hr RYT Program
  • Take our entire 300-hr Advanced Yoga Program held in person or virtually in 6 modules.
  • Do your homework, complete an internship, offer a regular mentor hour, and/or present a workshop/class series
  • FYI: Yoga Alliance requires 100 hours of logged teaching hours for their 500 RYT designation
300 HR ADVANCED YOGA PROGRAM
  • 240 hours of curriculum practice, workshops, discussion, peer teaching, group work, and lectures with CNY E-RYT 500 trainers, teachers, peers, and guest faculty.
  • 60 hours of personal studies. Including: reading our required book assignments, internet research, writing homework, and all other time you spend outside the class environment in support of what you are learning in the program.

TOPICS

Our Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and Certification is in the tradition of Hatha Yoga. This means we focus on breath-centered movement, mental health practices, and meditation. Our asana emphasis is Vinyasa Flow with elements of using Sun and Moon Salutations, Standing and Balancing Poses, Supported Inversions, Seated Forward Bends, Hip/Heart Openers, Twisting, and Restorative Relaxation techniques. We supplement our practices with AcuYoga (Acupressure & Yoga), Mantra & Mudra (Subtle Energy Healing), and Yin Yoga (Passive Deep Releasing).

Our interactive, work-shop style training has coursework in the following areas: Ayurveda, Yoga Nidra, The Chakra System, Anatomy of Hatha Yoga, Energy Body Activation, Psychology of Yoga, Somatic Movement Practices, Partner and Acro Yoga (available only in person), Use of Touch/Adjustments/Modifications, Thai Yoga Massage (available only in person), Designing Workshops, Sequencing Classes, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Radiance Sutras (Vijnana Bhairava Tantra), Bhakti/Mantra Yoga, Yin Yoga, Buddhist Meditation Practices, The Power of Teaching, YogaPlay for Kids, Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Yoga for Seniors and Motion Restriction, Adaptive Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Art Meditation, and The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

In-Person Training: $3800 (held as TWO 10-day immersions in Kauai)

FULL Online Training: $2900 (all 6 of our 300-hr modules done virtually with direct mentoring)

EDU-VACATIONS in KAUAI
Cloud Nine Yoga Edu-vacation Retreats offer a variety of experiences and workshops that build into the 300 hr requirements. Depending on location and teachers, these courses provide approximately 6 hours of training per day.
