“Resistance to your inner child is futile. At the age of six, I had memorized all of the words to Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All” and would sing it full voice in the shower. I also recall trying to levitate at a very young age, sitting in my room in what I now recognize as meditation.

All of this behavior really made sense upon meeting my master teacher, and figure from my dreams, Erika Faith Calig. My call to teach was clear as a bell. After living in San Francisco for two years, Life brought me back to Southern California. I received a bachelor’s degree in English at Cal State Fullerton to entertain my love of words. It was also in Fullerton where the tribe found me. I received my 200 and 500hr yoga certification from Cloud Nine, and am also a Reiki practitioner.

I devote my life to living what I love. Currently, I live in Los Feliz and run the Cloud Nine Hollywood/Los Feliz Teacher Trainings. You can find me teaching yoga at Pasadena City College through Extended Learning, Shaktibox Studio in Los Feliz, and privately around Los Angeles. You can also find me making yummy sounds ~ eating delicious food, people watching, writing, dancing in the street, and singing at the top of my lungs. The admiration for language (written, spoken, or silent) drives everything I do; the way communication happens never ceases to amaze me. Much of my time and energy goes to supporting the yoga community as well as mentoring young writers in LA.

The study of the inner world never stops. I believe that we are all connected beyond our imagination and I often feel like life is wrapped up in one huge moment. We are in everything and one another. It is the CNY family that nourishes me, allowing me to remain teacher and student, loved and lover. In a nutshell, I love living, sharing, and teaching such great stuff.”
