When I first unrolled my yoga mat, I was 187 terrified, self-conscious of my weight and not sure what to expect. I have spent years with doctors, medications, and treatments for my auto immune, which disrupted not only my digestive system and my life as a whole. I searched high and low for a cure, paid a fortune for medications, powders and potions. Yoga was something I had experienced throughout the years, but insisted that running, swimming was exercise not yoga. Through yoga I have found, peace, confidence, strength and increased flexibility, not to mention a working digestive system and the best exercise for my mind, body and soul. My intention is to design safe, fun, and trans-formative classes for students across all levels of experience and to welcome all shapes, sizes with acceptance and an open heart.
