One of Raakhi’s life goals is to learn and propagate cultural knowledge and traditions. Another is to work towards greater health, both in herself and through interactions with others. In this vein, she choses to transition from medicine to community health and development in international public health. During her work and travels, she’s been blessed with multifarious opportunities to learn about indigenous healing. In fact, her grandmother and uncle are ayurvedic healers, and she grew up with a holistic and balanced approach to health. Now that Raakhi completed her professional studies in ayurveda and yoga, she’s been incorporating her family’s art into this learning.
