“I discovered yoga in 2002 on the East coast and have been a dedicated practitioner and student ever since. My personal experience with, and passion for, yoga inspired me to share its healing power (inside and out) with others as a yoga teacher. In 2007, I became a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance after receiving my certification from Cloud Nine Yoga.
I enjoy guiding students through their practice, encouraging students to focus on breath awareness and to listen to their own bodies. My classes include a variety of asanas that build strength while increasing flexibility and balance. I also include yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation and hands-on assists in my classes to support students in experiencing the full benefits of a regular yoga practice. I am passionate about sharing the benefits that will naturally develop in students as a regular yoga practice is embraced.
I get a great deal of satisfaction from assisting my students on their personal journeys toward self-acceptance and unconditional love. I truly believe yoga provides a vehicle to attaining balance in life as well as enhancing a student’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. In addition to teaching both group and private yoga classes, I am an Advanced Yoga Instructor, Teacher Trainer and Board Member for the Cloud Nine Yoga School.”
